I think booking an episode of 1000 Ways to Die on Spike TV is a rite of passage for improvisers in L.A.. I’m no exception. Watch if you want to see me get manhandled by a lady bodybuilder.
Aw
It doesn’t matter how big or small the theater (okay, maybe save for Broadway), actors always have to write their own bios for the program. I think most actors don’t really enjoy this, so if you notice, many bios in theater programs are goofing around. Some are written in first person, some in third person, some just list credits, some tell a story that starts with the persons birth.
I guess it’s one of the fun aspects of the theater. I love reading bios when I go to see a play.
But I hate having to write my bio when I’m in a play.
Wow, it’s fun seeing the names of theatres I’ve worked with in Chicago appearing in their bios. Aside from the obvious ones (Second City and Improv Olympic), I’ve also worked on productions at the Next Theatre and Pegasus Players. Does anyone know if that picture that’s cut off in the upper right is of Dave Razowsky?
